Less than one month to go...
... Till the GWSR Mixed Traction Extravaganza! Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October, the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway will be putting its home fleet through its paces for our Autumn Showcase!

Steam and Diesel will be sharing the spotlight across two intensive days of running, with trains working the full length of the line from first thing in the morning until the last train of the day. Expect expresses, goods trains and plenty of action along the way.

And if you haven't made your plans yet, don't forget — this will be one of your last chances to see our visiting Black 5 in action with us!!

There's plenty happening off the trains too, with the engine sheds at Toddington and carriage and wagon workshops at Winchcombe open to visitors, plus the chance to climb into the cabs of both steam and diesel locomotives at Cheltenham Racecourse.

After a very proactive meeting this week , we have the dates confirmed for next years show ☺️
There’s going to be a great line up of entertainment across the weekend so please make a note of the date and save it on your calendars .
Charity event in the tent will be Thursday the 6th may will be great to see as many as we can there , we hoping to succeed past last shows success , look out for more details to come …..

The sharpness show starts from 3pm, bring along your vehicle and come have a chat to all that’s there .
It’s a great small show which is completely free but they are asking for donations if you can 👌
