Fitter / Technician

Gregory Commercials Ltd is looking for a skilled and motivated Fitter to join our busy workshop team.

The Role includes:
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles and trailers
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs efficiently
• Completing inspections and ensuring vehicles meet safety and legal standards
• Accurately completing job cards and maintenance records
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime

Requirements:
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience as a fitter/technician (commercial vehicle experience preferred)
• Holds relevant mechanical qualifications (or equivalent experience)
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Has good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Holds a full UK driving licence (HGV licence an advantage, but not essential)

This position is ideal for someone with a professional, reliable approach to their work looking to work in a modern well-equipped workshop, with overtime opportunities.

Had a phone call of a good freind from Yorkshire problem with one of there trucks ,2 phone calls and we are in the process of sorting him out with the Garage I use.....
Within an hour the shoe is on the other foot ....one of mine in Bury St Edmunds with it chucking water out ....
Phone Phil judge who then in turn gives me a number ...

only part available is in scania South Mimms...no hassle il send one of my men over to pick it up and rectify first thing in the morning .....
