Whenever we do an AdBlue in the diesel job, like this one today, we always check the fuel filter. Even if the vehicle hasn’t been started/keys put in the ignition. As some vehicles can still prime the fuel pump with the fuel from the tank by simply opening the drivers door. Causing the contaminated fuel to be passed through the fuel system. This one was clean, but always worth the extra time to check everything is right

Had a very nice Mercedes Vito booked in today after it was filled with unleaded rather than Diesel and then driven back home. A bit of practice in case I ever mis-fuel my own van 😂

Another job for Hyundai down in Plymouth. This Petrol Hybrid Hyundai Kona with diesel in it had broken down and been brought into the main dealers.
We drained the fuel tank and the whole fuel system, the dealers were fitting some new spark plugs to get this new car back out on the road again!

A VW Polo this morning in Bristol, a diesel engine with a full tank of petrol -fuel
