C70 2.4T manual in silver for breaking
This is my own car that I never quite finished. It does however have lots of lovely parts.

Most parts available, some from the top of my head:

*2.4T turbo engine, 71k miles, perfect running order. Complete with all ancillaries injectors, turbo etc, but not alternator, PAS pump or AC compressor. £450 strapped to a pallet.
*FULL MANUAL CONVERSION including the desirable 4.0 gearbox with 71k miles, clutch, flywheel, front driveshafts, gear selector and cables, gear k**b, manual ECU, pedal box, slave cylinder and clutch pipe etc. £500 collected.

*The best condition silver panels and bumpers you'll find, rear bumper includes genuine Volvo sensors which I could wire up for you.

This perfect set of 5 comets are for sale as I've decided my own C70 is being broken for spares. £650 ono

Freshly refurbished in metallic anthracite, I spent ages finding the right shade, this is a Ford colour and not too blue or brown.

These were ceramic coated with CarPro DLUX, and haven't been fitted to a car since refurb. (The photo on my silver car was the old set which got pinched, just so you have a feel of what they'll look like).

7.5" version as fitted to C70s, but will also fit the other P80 cars.

Amazing Michellin Primacy tyres X4, maybe 6-7mm all round.

This includes a 5th wheel with a BRAND NEW Michellin Pilot Sport 5.ideal when one gets kerbed and you'll have a matching wheel ready to go on.

Cost me £250 for the wheels, £360 for the refurb and £400 for the tyres, so I'm in for £960. I'm asking £650 collected from Bromley SE London. Any of my regular customers get a discount on request 👍🏻

I'd also consider a very cheap scruffy set of wheels in part ex just to keep the car rolling for scrap...

Postage at your risk, I can put cardboard on faces and shrink wrap for £20, you arrange the collection.

Details matter here at Garage303. 🛠️🇸🇪

​Our customer, Damien, travelled all the way from Paris to London just for us to work some magic on this much-loved Volvo C70. Talk about dedicated international customers! 😎

​In France, the beige roof was a factory option, and it matches the beautiful beige interior of this car perfectly. However, at over 25 years old, the original roof was starting to let the car down, looking grubby, tired, and suffering from the classic issue of the rear window falling in.

​To bring it back to its former glory, we fitted, I believe, a USA manufactured premium Robbins Auto Top. It uses the correct, high-grade Haartz German A5 acoustic canvas, the gold standard for weatherproofing and cabin refinement. The fixtures, fittings, and pattern accuracy on these are the closest match to a factory Volvo roof we've seen.

​An installation like this requires absolute precision.

We took immense care stripping it down:
*​Meticulously cleaning all the old glue from the frame bows.
*​Reapplying high-bond adhesive tape exactly where it belongs.
*​Using the correct factory-spec rivets.
*Removing all remnants of foam backing from the headlining.
*​Perfectly adjusting the side windows and window seals to ensure a completely watertight, flush fit.
*Extra elastics sewn in for proper storage of the roof (no bungees here!)
*Recalibrating the roof components to ensure lasting operation

We know these C70 roofs inside out. If there is a single screw in the wrong place from a previous repair, we will spot it and sort it.

​To keep this stunning canvas looking pristine for years to come, we recommended a treatment of Renovo Ultra Proofer. Combined with the fact that this car lives in a garage, this fresh roof is going to stay looking sharp for a very long time.

​Another beautiful Swedish modern classic back on the road, looking factory-fresh, and ready for its journey back across the Channel. 🇫🇷🚄🇬🇧

Love getting feedback like this! 🙌 A massive day sorting out this silver C70 convertible.
This one needed a serious amount of TLC, but she’s now running and looking like an absolute peach. We did:

✔️ Replacement roof fitted (Cheers Karl Sabin!)
✔️ New roof motor & full system calibration/lube 😎
✔️ Offside rear window regulator replaced
✔️ Pioneer Double DIN head unit upgrade (perfect fit, zero extra fascia trim required!)
✔️ Driver's door speaker replaced
✔️ Cracked rear light replaced
✔️ Upgraded PAS reservoir & coolant leak fixed
✔️ Pollen filter changed & scuttle drains cleared out
✔️ Aerial... sort of fixed! 😅

Ready for summer cruising and a few subtle mods down the line! ☀️🇸🇪

Check out these freshly refurbished Comets finished in "High Sparkle Silver," now fitted to the 20k-mile C70 cabriolet. I think they look absolutely stunning under the light, especially wrapped in Bridgestone rubber all around. 😎 Ceramic coated with Carpro DLUX, so hopefully they will look this good for a long time to come.

It also needed a bit of surgery. The rear glass window was a total horror story, it had been poorly reglued at least twice before. I stripped it right back and did it properly, so hopefully, that’s it sorted for a long time to come.

To finish things off, I ticked off some of those satisfying little details: replacing a split door pull surround and fitting a strut brace for some engine bay bling.

Superb re-upholstered steering wheel.

This has recently been redone in dark grey leather by Royal Steering Wheels. GT spec wheel with the thumb grips. Only for sale due to a change of plan. £150 plus postage. London UK, but international postage no problem. Fitting also available.
