Many learners feel disappointed after an unsuccessful test, but it doesn't reflect how far you've come or how capable a driver you are.

A retest is simply another chance to build on what you've already learned, with your instructor identifying exactly what to focus on next.

A few things that can help on the day:

• Arrive a little early so you're not rushing
• Take a few slow breaths before you set off
• Focus on the drive in front of you, not what's already happened
• Remember your instructor has prepared you for this
