Out track testing some more Sports Series suspension parts we are developing for 2027 release for our kit to make a 540/570 deliver significantly faster lap times than a 600LT through a combination of powetrain and handling modifications designed in house at JWM.

It also appears BT have let us down again with phone divert having failed again while we are out of office. Sorry if you've been trying to reach us today. All fixed now though!

Approval in the form of Shmee150 at McLaren Owners Club UK Velocity Event. It comes as little surprise given he's here today in his own 675LT!

The JWM fleet has grown a bit this week, with the addition of this beautiful 675LT which will be used to help us develop innovative products and cost effective solutions for owners of P11 series cars.

A busy time for suspension setups at JWM it appears, with three different cars back to back each receiving a geometry setup last week.

Whether it's factory manufacturer specifications or our proven fast-road or track settings, every setup is tuned to our customers preferences and how the car is driven. With championship winning race engineering experience, Jack ensures every car leaves performing at its best.

JWM introduces the world's first Lotus Exige V6 fitted with Nitron Suspension's all-new elec-TRON eR3 semi-active suspension.

As Lotus supplied their NTR3 factory shocks to high specification versions of the Exige V6, it's only natural that Nitron have been working with us to further develop the chassis to suit their latest electronically controlled suspension technology.

The elec-TRON eR3 combines Nitron's renowned 3-way adjustable dampers with intelligent electronic control, constantly adapting damping forces in real time to suit braking, acceleration, cornering and changing road conditions. With six driver-selectable suspension maps available at the touch of a button, the character of the car can be transformed in seconds - from a surprisingly comfortable road car, to an apex hunting track machine.

Being the first installation of its kind meant careful planning, bespoke integration and meticulous attention to detail to ensure the system looked and functioned as though it had always belonged on the car.

A typical scene at the JWM workshop, with a 570S Spider, 570S Coupe, 570GT, two 650S Spiders and a roof-scooped 675LT all in at the moment.

As one car leaves, another arrives, so the line-up rarely looks the same for long. A great example of the variety of McLarens that pass through our doors every week.

A slightly different job in the workshop, with this 570S receiving an aftermarket steel brake conversion we supplied, alongside a full service and inspection.

For owners who regularly use their cars on track, it's a good alternative to the factory carbon ceramic setup, helping to significantly reduce consumable costs while maintaining strong braking performance and consistency. The kit is designed to work with the larger CCM calipers, which helps retain the stopping power, particularly when matched with the appropriate Ferodo Racing pads, and fresh Motul RBF660 fluid.

This particular McLaren sees a fair number of trackdays and Nürburgring trips, making the steel package a sensible option that allows the owner to continue enjoying the car without the expense associated with wearing through CCM discs.

With everything fitted, serviced and checked over, it's now ready for the next trip with complete peace of mind.

End of another busy week at JWM with plenty of McLarens through the workshop over the last few days. A mix of servicing, repairs, diagnostics and upgrades keeping us occupied!

We’re now closed for annual leave and will re-open on 9th June. We'll keep an eye on messages and emails as best as we can for the time being!
