This Mercedes-Benz V-Class came in with an A/C issue that required replacement of the evaporator inside the heater box.

The part itself sits deep inside the dashboard, which meant carrying out a major interior strip-down just to access and replace it 🔧

It’s a good example of how complicated modern vehicle repairs have become. What sounds like a simple A/C component can involve hours of careful dismantling and reassembly.

Would you have expected this much of the interior to come apart just to replace the evaporator? 👀

Mercedes CLA in with the cooling fan constantly running in emergency mode and the air conditioning not working. After carrying out an investigation, we traced the fault to the A/C pressure sensor—a common culprit for these symptoms. Sensor replaced, fault cleared and everything back working as it should.

This Mercedes came in with a completely jammed sunroof.

The customer advised us that the sunroof rails had previously been replaced elsewhere, but unfortunately, the system had jammed again.

We tried every possible method based on our experience, but the sunroof would not release. After further investigation, the only practical option was to remove the complete sunroof assembly — which was far from an easy job! 🔧

The required replacement parts are currently unavailable from stock and must come directly from Mercedes-Benz.

Once the parts arrive, we’ll be going live on TikTok while
we refit everything. Who wants to watch us put this complicated puzzle back together? 👀😂

This Mercedes came in with an AdBlue leak which had started to crystallise, along with a countdown warning on the dashboard.

AdBlue systems can be some of the most complicated systems to diagnose and repair, and leaving the fault unresolved can eventually prevent the vehicle from starting.

After further investigation, we replaced the leaking AdBlue pipe and seal, then completed the repair with the necessary software update 🔧✅

It is another reminder not to ignore AdBlue warnings, even when the vehicle still appears to drive normally.

Have AdBlue systems become more trouble than they are worth? 👀

This customer woke up to find the sunroof on their Mercedes-Benz completely smashed overnight. 😳

We safely removed the broken glass and replaced the sunroof, getting the vehicle back to how it should be.

What surprised us most was the cost — the replacement sunroof was over £900 from Mercedes-Benz, before fitting and any additional work. 💸

It’s a crazy world we live in, and unfortunately these unexpected repairs can become very expensive.

Would you have expected a piece of sunroof glass to cost over £900? 👀

This Mercedes-Benz S-Class came in with the rear air conditioning only blowing hot air. 🌡️

After carrying out a full diagnostic scan, there were no fault codes stored in the system.

This is a good example of why diagnostics isn’t just about plugging in a computer. When there are no faults stored, the next step is experience, physical testing, and understanding how the system operates.

After further investigation, we identified the issue as a faulty A/C valve and restored the system to full operation. 🔧❄️

Not every fault is recorded by the vehicle. Sometimes finding the problem takes time, testing, and experience.

Have you ever had an issue with your car that didn’t show any fault codes? 👀

This Mercedes-Benz S-Class came in with blocked windscreen washer jets. 💦

After investigating, we found the washer tank was contaminated with sludge, blocking the system.

Rather than replacing parts unnecessarily, we cleaned the tank and the washer system, restoring it to full working order and saving the customer money. 🔧

The only surprise? A new set of genuine S-Class wiper blades came to £136! 😳

Sometimes the right diagnosis doesn’t mean replacing parts—it means finding the root cause first.

Have you ever been surprised by the price of a simple car part? 👀

This BMW electric vehicle came in for a pyro fuse replacement on the main battery pack ⚡

Jobs like this show just how complex and dangerous modern EV repairs can be. This isn’t a simple battery replacement — high-voltage systems require strict safety procedures, specialist tools, and the correct training to carry out the work safely. ⚠️

One mistake on a job like this can have serious consequences.

As vehicles continue to evolve, so does the level of skill and care needed to repair them properly. Modern EV work is on another level. 🔧

This 2023 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG came in with only 16,000 miles and already had thermostat issues.

The thermostat needed replacing, but what’s surprising is how much more complex these repairs have become on modern vehicles 🔧

What used to be a simple repair years ago now requires far more labour due to how these engines are built.

It’s a reminder that if you ever get an engine light, coolant warning, or notice temperature issues — don’t leave it too long. Bring it in and get it checked early.

Catching a fault early can save you from much bigger damage and much bigger costs later on. 💰
