I self taught and because I have such a passion for it I found making them a very natural thing to do. I had done flower arranging since I was about 8 when my Nan died and I took over her large greenhouse full of geraniums and did all the cuttings and propogating from then onwards. Used to love making little gardens too with sprigs of this and that and the obligatory compact mirror for the pond. I
've since branched out into other things. I totaly adore crarfts. Some people say why don't I just stick to one thing,,,,,,,,I can't!! There is so much I love doing why limit myself to just one thing? I work very closely with clients to guarantee satisfaction and keep clients updated every step of the way. Silk flowers are so beautiful these days. People still have a misconception of the old plastic flowers when thinking about unreall ones. Advantages of silk flowers,,,,,a bouquet to keep for life, easier to match with your colour scheme, order well in advance so it is another job done and out of the way, the reception can be set up the night before (if able to do so), no sneezing for those with allergies. Ahhh but they don't smell like real flowers I hear you say. With so many essential oils available a few drops will turn them into an aromatic pleasure. After the wedding all the flowers can be dismantled and re arranged into a floral display for the home. I can do flowers for any occasion and also floral tributes. I'm quite happy to work with wedding planners and will discuss all aspects of what you require. Clients with postal orders will be kept informed by emails and lots of photo's. Once we have spoken and I have the colour scheme etc the first photo's start with the components I will use. This allows for parts to be excluded or added, then there will be photo's at each stage to allow for any alterations, and then of course the finished photo's before posting or delivering. Very happy to discuss ideas for civil ceremonies
