Another Audi, another air suspension problem…
This Audi A8 came to us with the front end sitting low and the air suspension no longer doing its job.
We started with diagnostics rather than guessing – and found the culprit: the air suspension compressor had completely failed.
A new compressor was fitted, the system was checked and fully calibrated, and the Audi was soon sitting exactly where it should be again.

Job done, car back to normal and handed back to a happy customer. 👌

Air suspension problems are fairly common on these Audis, so if your car starts sitting lower than usual or struggles to raise itself, don’t ignore it – catching the problem early can save a much bigger repair later.

Today we had an Audi in the garage for a timing belt & water pump replacement.

The timing belt is one of those parts you really don’t want to ignore. If it fails, it can cause serious and expensive engine damage.

Replacing the water pump at the same time makes sense too – both parts are in the same area, saving extra labour and helping avoid another big job later.

This 2016 Peugeot 2008 1.6 HDi came in for a timing belt kit and water pump replacement.

Why is it so important to replace your timing belt on time?

Timing belts don’t last forever. Over time, the rubber deteriorates, the teeth wear down and the risk of the belt snapping increases – often with very little warning.

And when it does snap, things can get expensive very quickly.

If the timing belt fails while the engine is running, the pistons and valves can collide, potentially causing:
🔹 Bent valves
🔹 Damaged pistons
🔹 Cylinder head damage
🔹 In serious cases, complete engine failure

💡 Replacing your timing belt as preventative maintenance is far cheaper than repairing a damaged engine.
