Good morning everyone, the sun is coming out and I'm down Newquay today at Watergate bay touring park at the Duchy Ford Show Weekend, with a stand doing abit of advertising and just generally chatting to people about cars, their cars & any issues.
So if you'd like to chat to a happy mobile mechanic about your car or potential project, or about a fault you might have, come on down to the largest Ford show in cornwall and have a chat, take a card and see some lovely Ford's

It's been a while since I've posted and done a video, but have certainly been busy.
This customer who was over 320miles away from home on holiday, had a very unfortunate but extremely lucky situation with there cambelt & water pump... have a look, I'm still stunned now 😬😳🙈🥵

It's been a busy few months with many new customers and long term ones too.
It's been a while since I updated you about the 1961 Landrover Series 2A restoration I've been doing.
This video, is after cranking the engine to gain engine Oil pressure to the top of the engine & out of the roccershaft, gaining fuel pressure at the same... the video shows the engine fired on the push of the button 😁🎉 the first time in at least last 20 years it's had a running engine. Alot of fine tuning, throttle linkage adjustments, some wiring & the rest of the exhaust etc to complete yet... but it runs 😁🎉

Another very happy customer, came down on holiday and brokedown on the A30 🙈 They had the car recovered to the campsite, where I attended.
Going by the diagnostic report, Carried out further diagnostics, found engine misfiring, removed the spark plugs to find cylinder 2 spark plug platinum tip missing resulting in a huge spark plug electrod gap.

Replaced all 3 spark plugs as a set, erased all codes & reset systems, all okay, engine running sweet, mini test drive... fixed.
Customer over the moon, they could relax and enjoy the rest of there holiday 😁
