When the starlings arrive for dinner,
Despite being one of the most common backyard birds, the common starling is on the UK Red List. Their breeding population has suffered a steep decline since the 1970s, making them a bird of high conservation concern so it’s nice to see so many young feeding in our garden!

Decided to make our garden a bit more wildlife friendly, and part of that was turning an area of dead ground into a pond...
