997.2 Turbo Porsche 911 PDK – Flywheel Replacement

Not every flywheel replacement is a straightforward job… and this 997.2 Turbo PDK is a perfect example.

To access and replace the flywheel correctly, we had to remove both the engine and PDK transmission from the car. A big job, but sometimes there’s simply no substitute for getting everything out and doing the work properly.

With these out, we can inspect everything thoroughly, replace the flywheel and make sure the engine and transmission are ready to go back together exactly as they should.

Today marks a very special milestone for everyone here at Revolution Porsche Specialists — 15 years in business.

Fifteen years of working with some of the finest cars ever built, but more importantly, fifteen years of building relationships with an incredible community of Porsche owners and enthusiasts.

Since day one, our aim has always been simple - to provide the highest standards of specialist Porsche servicing, maintenance, repair and advice, while treating every car that comes through our doors as if it were our own.

Over the years, we've had the privilege of looking after thousands of Porsches, from modern performance cars to some of the most iconic classics. We've seen technologies change, models come and go, and the Porsche world continue to evolve — but one thing has remained constant..... our customers and their passion for these cars.

We genuinely couldn't have reached 15 years without the continued support, trust and loyalty of our customers. Many of you have been with us from the very beginning, while others have joined the Revolution family more recently. Whether you've trusted us with your Porsche for years or have only visited us once, thank you.

A specialist business is built on reputation, and our reputation has been built one customer, one car and one job at a time. We're incredibly proud of what we've achieved together and hugely grateful to everyone who has played a part in our journey.

But we're not looking back just yet…

15 years is a milestone, not a finish line. We're as passionate about Porsche today as we were when we started, and we're excited for what the next chapter holds.
