With our roots

deeply planted in the British Classic Car Community, we have supplied original equipment quality parts to the classic British car trade for almost 40 years under the name of Leacy Classics and the iconic mini brand Wood and Pickett. Leacy Group acquired the original MG Rover parts division XPart in 2017 and Racing Green’s TVR stock in 2022 and so Motaclan was born, bringing these companies together under one name. Our collection of specialist businesses provides high quality products which are vital to the continual roadworthiness of classic cars. We take pride in playing our part in maintaining the classic motoring experience, serving the Classic Car Community and keeping our much-loved British Classics on the road. Manufacturing many of the high-quality spares ourselves using original tooling acquired during four decades of trading, our purpose-built distribution centre in Birmingham has been supplying the needs of customers both large and small all over the world from stock of over one million components. We believe in the sustainability and continual legacy of historic models. Our passion for driving is shared with our passion for keeping icons motoring as they were always intended. 🚨 A HUGE CHANGE FOR THE NATIONAL MOTOR MUSEUM 🚗🏍️

After more than 50 years at Beaulieu, the National Motor Museum has announced that it will be relocating.

Since opening in 1972, the museum has grown into one of the world's most important collections of motoring history, with more than 270 vehicles and 1.9 million items documenting the story of motoring.

The move won't happen immediately — the museum has around four years remaining on its current lease — but the National Motor Museum Trust is now looking for a "transformational new home" as it looks to expand its community work and create a training centre for heritage engineering apprenticeships.

Meanwhile, Beaulieu says it will continue to operate a motor museum, with a significant number of vehicles remaining at the estate.

It's the end of an era… but potentially the beginning of a very exciting new chapter. 👀
