What’s a single stage detail? 🤔
Basically the vehicle is thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated ready for a machine polish before a ceramic coating is applied!
The ‘single’ part is that there’s only one polishing stage.
Ideally you’d want a heavy cut maybe some sanding to remove the defects, a medium to remove any marring from the heavy cut then finish with a light cut to add depth, clarity and gloss before locking it all in with a ceramic coating. This would take multiple days maybe even a week and the cost would obviously be a lot more!
What we do with a single stage is optimise to remove as many defects as possible, and add as much depth and gloss as possible in the time we have! The fresher the paint the closer we can get to ‘flawless’ obviously if it’s had a hard life it won’t be ‘flawless’ but will definitely see massive improvements! It’s actually easier to see the improvements on a battered car than one that’s not too bad!
