A T5 in for a Kenwood DMX8021DABS

A T5.1 in for a floating 9" Pioneer stereo, Vibe 65.4 micro amp and an underseat subwoofer.

A Peugeot Boxer in for a Kenwood DMX6523DABS.

All fitted with 3D printed USB dash mounts and HDMI mount for the 8021 from VW 3D Printing

A nice big build in tomorrow

Took the Rallye out to put some fuel in it on Saturday and ended up at Curborough Sprint Course for event. offered to take me out for a spin in his new track toy and I just happened to have my Arai Union Jack helmet in the car for such an occasion. What a blast.

Don't forget Shadow Sport has the Invte show on the Saturday 12th September at Curborough Sprint Course, with cars coming from all over Europe.

A friend's Mk2 Golf GTi 16V in this week for an audio upgrade. Apparently it hasn't had a working audio system for nearly 20 years.

He'd already bought his own upgrades including the Satty tweeter pods and just wanted me to fit it all.

This started with a retro looking Pioneer stereo that has DAB and FM radio, usb and aux inputs, Bluetooth and Spotify control.

This runs thru a 4.300 Audison amp in the boot next to the Audison active subwoofer. Whilst in the boot I added a bit of ply to reinforce the carpet as time had taken a toll on it.

The front setup was run active from the 4 channel using Vibes new twisted speaker wire, available in different sizes and ISO colours. Also used Antivibe to sound deaden the front doors. This Rallye Golf Recaro interior came with door builds so we could fit a 165mm to the doors.

I do love working on older Golfs this is where it all started for me.

What a great afternoon at The MK2 Golf owners meet at Curborough Sprint Course. Took the opportunity to get some nice pics of the Rallye out on the track after the group photos.

Took my helmet with me so I could maybe get some passenger rides around the track tomorrow
