Back to back tyre breakdowns this morning. First one in Newark on an Audi A5 and the second was near Rainworth on the A617 for a Honda. All done before 9am 💪

A customer experienced a tyre blowout while travelling to Blackpool, which resulted in them being stranded near Newark. Upon inspection, it was discovered that three of the customer's tyres were either worn down to the cords or had bulges.

The issue was fully resolved within approximately an hour of the customer contacting us.

Our staple work. We carried out an emergency tyre replacement earlier this evening, once again on the A1. On this occasion, we were near Tuxford, completing a job for the RAC on a Volvo. From the initial phone call to finishing the work, we completed it in under 60 minutes.

It's all fun and games, until you have a tyre blowout on the A1!

This customer was heading south to set up equipment in preparation for a child's birthday party, but unfortunately their tyre had different ideas.

We were on scene within 60 minutes, and they were back on the road 10 minutes later.

Emergency blowout on the M1 late this Sunday evening for a mini bus full of elderly people.

Managed to get to them within 45 minutes just past Woodall services.

All sorted safely and quickly, and even got a round of applause at the end 😅

Two breakdowns in 90 minutes near Worksop this morning: a flat tyre and wheel nut removal on a Range Rover near Blyth Services, followed by a blowout on the A57 near Worksop on a Seat.

Two 21-inch rear tyres replaced just off the A1 this evening on an emergency call out for a Porsche - immediately followed by another flat tyre job for a Volvo at Tesco in Ollerton.

3 RAC jobs in under 3 hours.

First one was two 205/75R16s on a 25 plate interstar. The tyres weren't flat but they were certainly ready to blow! Prior to me coming out he'd actually had the other two tyres go flat on his during the past few weeks. Looks like these Continental tyres were defective from the factory!

Second job was ollerton roundabout McDonalds for a lady with a Vauxhall Zafira on her way home to Nottingham.

Third job was between Eakring and Kneesall for a lady who hit a pothole and was stranded on a rural stretch of road.

All done quickly and safely with no messing about

Emergency roadside tyre replacement near Sleaford this bank holiday weekend. Customer managed to share their location with us and track the van as we made our way across. Nothing worse after a blowout than not knowing how long you're going to be stuck for!
