Somedays, you just have to refuse point blank to work on a vehicle. Today was one of those days. Car was booked in for 4 wheel alignment, but after putting it in the ramp and inspecting some of the repair work. We decided against it.

This car has seen some serious action and quite frankly, shouldn’t be allowed on the road.

E90 in for rough running. Misfire in cylinder 2. Carried out compression test and nothing. Cylinder leak test performed to see where all the squeeze was going, looks like the exhaust valve sealing is an issue.

E46 M3 in with us this week for an inspection 1 service, carried out with the valve clearance check. Customer also requested to have their brake pads changed, whilst on the ramp, it was noticed that the front brake discs had been fitted the wrong way round from whatever bright spark was there last! So a new pair of brake discs, new pads and fresh brake fluid to complete the job.
