Please note if you are wanting to visit the hotel you will have to walk/drive round the road, DO NOT jump the wall, it’s been built up for a reason!

Update!

We have unfortunately been left with no alternative but to block the stile between the hotel and Marshall Meadows Farm.

This decision has been made primarily because members of the general public have repeatedly attempted to access and park on our private property. While there is a coastal path and bridleway through the farm and park, we do not provide private parking and the issue is becoming beyond ridiculous.

When asked to move on, some have then chosen to park at the hotel and use the stile to walk through the farm to access the coastal path, the hotel is not a public car park either.

We appreciate this may be an inconvenience to some, but we hope everyone understands why this action has become necessary.

Access to the hotel is now via the road.

From July, Marshall Meadows Hotel will be busy with weddings and therefore closed to the general public, they are all inclusive so therefore will definitely be closed.

To save anyone a wasted trip up to the hotel the following are the dates that they are closed.

Please remember to take your card - no card means no discount!

July – 4th, 10th, 17th, 20th, 24th, 25th

August – 1st, 4th, 5th, 9th, 10th, 14th, 16th, 21st, 28th, 30th

September – 5th, 11th, 12th, 19th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th

We’ve been advised by the Railway that vegetation work will be carried out on the line Saturday 18th July from 11pm til 6am Sunday 19th - hopefully not too much noise

🚂🚂🚂 there’s a steam train heading south today, going through the farm at approximately 4.50pm.

Let’s hope the fog is away by then!
