The consequences of letting a clown work at your car.

2006 Audi A6 lost keys

Attended by another company ( Superlock Newry)

He kindly left the blade behind to show how incompatent he actually was. Below is a photo of the key blade which hasnt got the right number of cuts one less than it should have... For future reference Superlock if your reading this an audi a6, q7 and toureg are a Hu66 ext. This is to accommodate the ignition barrels without the extra cut the ignition wont work correctly

So once we corrected that mistake we powered on the ignition to find the vehicle is also stuck in programming 1/0 on dash board means the vehicle is looking for a key to be programmed but there are currently no keys present to match the vehicle.

This turned the job from a simple 20 minute job into a 2 hour escapade, normally to do a key on an audi a6 we need to read the data from the vehicle preprogram the key and learn it to the car. With the car stuck in learning mode were unable to read the vehicle data to preprogram the key now

The only way to complete the job was to removed the steering lock module and read the data directly from the chip.

This nearly doubled the price of the job for the customer and left him without a car for a number of days untill we could book him in.

To make matters worse after the job was completed we learn that Superlock actually charged him £100 to "have a go" at doing the job

Well done f**k all super about that

Car had been attended by someone else who failed and had deleted all the cars immobiliser data

Not a hard job at all but just goes to show the idots running about the place claiming to be an "AUTO LOCKSMITH" 😂😂😂
