Because we all love Hedgehogs.

Five new hedgehog habitat boxes have been in installed across Beeston Rylands today (13 October) thanks to Notts Green Rewards! 🦔 💚

The five habitat houses were successfully added at suitable locations after residents were given the chance to vote on a choice of animal houses. Populations of these wonderful spikey mammals have declined in the past two decades. By providing these additional habitat boxes, five new safe and sheltered places have been created allowing local populations to nest and/or hibernate in, helping to maintain and increase their populations.

These dignified women can stand proud today knowing that they fought and won (& earned tremendous respect along the way)

Thanks to these women ( Friends of Broxtowe Cemeteries), the council officers & our Cllrs - Broxtowe now has the best set of new cemetery rules across the whole of the country.

The Cllrs also agreed that no fee would be charged for a Memorial Garden relating to the grave of a child or young person under the age of 18. 💔
