Going back in time a bit here, this was my first big bike after my first taste of motorcycling on a nice Gold and Black Honda CB175 in 1972. Enter a 1973 BSA A65L Lightning which I rode for a couple of years before moving up a notch to a Norton 750 Commando. The Lightning was one of the last models the factory produced, with a white frame and high bars it was in reality more US spec than UK, originally in Red we put lower bars on it and a colour change to Black. A good bike to ride with good handling and adequate performance and unusually for a Brit bike of that era decent reliability.

Just a quick heads up to all the valued customers that have bought bikes off me over the last 35 years or so, I will be closing GRM in the next few weeks and retiring into the biker sunset ! Many thanks to you all for your custom and support, above all enjoy the freedom that only a motorcycle can give. Ride safe....Greg
