We recovered a customers Audi Q2 due to a concerning knocking noise from the engine. On removal of the upper timing belt cover, we discovered that the variable valve pulley cap bolts had worked their way loose and catching on the inside of the cover. We replaced the pulley assembly and put a new timing belt kit on for good measure. A close call to say the least.
The automatic gearbox oil was also replaced along with rear discs and pads.
The car is now back on the road in good health!
