The installation of vehicle accessories including design and construction.
Role
The role of the employee will be to efficiently install accessories to our clients vehicles. This can range from simple to the bespoke. Examples are a 2 roof bar system all the way through to camper-van conversions / commercial vehicle crew cab conversions.
The nature of the role allows the employee to create products using steel, aluminium, wood. And to fit products manufactured by other companies. The more popular products that we supply and install are;
Deadlocks/security locks
Alarms
Ply lining
Internal Racking/ shelving
Tow bars
Reverse Parking Systems
Roof bars / Roof Rack systems
Commercial crew cab conversions / seat installations
Window installations
Vehicle Trackers
As the installations can be so varied, there will be a wide variety of skills acquired by the employee to absorb.
Most days will start within the workshop in Banstead, then head out to each job location throughout the day.

Skills
Essential
The employee will need a full drivers license as there will be some driving required to the different locations of each individual job.
A good level of education
The ability to work in a small team
Awareness for health and safety and for others around them.
To have enthusiasm to learn new abilities, and adapt to situations.
Desirable
To have previous experience with hand tools, or the willing to learn them.
To have knowledge of auto electronics or the desire to learn.
To have their own tools and to improve the quantity and quality of their own equipment.
The ability to work on their own.
The employee will undergo training to operate machinery and tools. These include:
Chop saws
Cross cutting saws
Circular saws
Jigsaws
Electric drills

Hours of work are Full time, Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:30 (Finish time dependant on job completion).
Paid Monthly
Holidays will be 20 days per annum + Bank Holidays
