When is your MOT due? 👀

Given a lot of cars have been running on MOT extensions, it is easy to forget when yours is next due! If you are unsure - please send us a message and we can advise you! ☺️

We are open for vehicle repairs and MOT testing - Monday to Friday between 0800 and 1700.

⚠️ WE ARE OPEN ⚠️

In accordance with the guidance provided by the Scottish Government, we will remain open throughout this lockdown.

We are permitted to carry out:-

➡️ MOTs ⚙️
➡️ Vehicle Mechanical Repairs 🔩
➡️ Vehicle Essential Maintenance 🔧

As always this guidance is subject to change, therefore we will of course update you if anything does change. It is also unlikely the DVSA will be extending MOTs further, we therefore urge you to check when your MOT is due. If you are unsure when this is, please send us a message with your registration and we can check for you!

We would ask that you wear a face covering (unless you are exempt under the guidance) when entering our premises. We would also be grateful if you were to call us on 01330 826054 to make a booking to ensure we do not have multiple people within the premises at anyone time.

‼️ BUSINESS UPDATE ‼️

As you will be aware, all of mainland Scotland is currently in Level 4 restrictions which requires a number of non-essential businesses to close.

Given we are an MOT testing station and repairer, we are allowed legally to remain open. We fully intend to remain operational throughout the Level 4 restrictions. As before, we will ensure our technicians are socially distanced and utilising the correct PPE to ensure the safety of you, our customers, and our staff. We will also ensure vehicles are sanitised correctly. The UK Government are not presently considering an extension to MOT tests again during these restrictions.

At present we would ask everyone to continue to pay by card to ensure we are not handling cash, again reducing any opportunity for the virus to be transmitted within our premises.

We have been informed by our suppliers that stock levels remain positive but there may be a slight delay in obtaining certain parts during Level 4 restrictions, due to the way couriers are operating.

If your vehicle is currently running on an MOT extension or you can’t recall when it is due, then we would encourage you to message us your registration and we will check for you!
