Kirky finale.

Race 2, the big one! Again we had started 4th after an ok qualifying. With getting a launch from 4th - 1st in race 1 I knew it was possible again! I tried to match it again but only managed 4th - 2nd. As we got into the a rhythm we noticed the changes we had gambled on had worse odds than we thought, so it was all about driving and defending as hard as I could. We had an incredible battle with and throughout the race swapping and changing positions every few corner. After a long hard race defending 2nd place we managed to keep it and just about bringing home p2 by just 0.08 in front of Kieran.

That rounds out the season and what a decent season it has been for me. With only entering 3 round and bringing home a.

P1, P1, P1, P1 in the rookie championship and Securing the Rookie championship as the champion!
P1, P3, P2, P2 in the overall championship - bringing a new lap record for Toyo tyres at Kirkistown at the start of the year!

To have had this season has been incredible support from absolutely everyone on and off track, I have to thank both my parents for their support, they are both the reason I am able to compete and fulfill a dream.

Race 1 done here at Kirkistown and it’s another national championship podium for us with second place after a brilliant fight up the front.

With that result, it also secures us the Rookie Championship victory for 2026. It’s brilliant to take our first Formula Vee Ireland title, and wouldn’t be possible without the hard-work of our incredible team.

After a busy week between the Leinster trophy and Emerson Fittipaldi, we have finally set sail towards Kirkistown!

We’ve improved the car off the track, it’s time for me to step up and get the results. Looking forward to the weekend, we have testing tomorrow with 2 races on Saturday, so plenty of laps. Last time out at kirky was 2 wins hopefully we can add that chart.

I’m in for an outside shout at winning the Rookie Championship aswell this weekend, so there’s loads of prizes on the table, let’s hope it’s a good one.

Good weekend down here in Mondello for the Leinster Trophy weekend, coming home with 2 class wins, a 3rd and 2nd place overall, with a P2 in the Leinster trophy race itself. Plenty of goodies coming home.

We have the Emmerson Fittipaldi weekend in kirky now in 2 weeks so full focus towards it with a few tweeks needing done before it.

Good day here at Mondello. Plenty of laps here today, still have a slight Understeer issue but I am positive that the team will be able to sort the issue tonight and have her ready for tomorrow!

Had 2 races and came home with 2 Rookie championship wins and a 3rd and 2nd overall.

Looking forward to the big race tomorrow we are starting 4th so have loads to do to be able to battle for the lead, but we will give it a go!

What a race - they do say to expect the unexpected!

Jordan Kelly had to pull into the pits as he approached the grid following the green flag lap, resulting in him starting from the pit lane. That wasn't the end of his troubles unfortunately, as a few laps later he was clipped on track, bringing a premature end to his race and no doubt a lot of disappointment for the Inishowen man.

Conor Melia took full advantage of the empty grid spot beside him, taking an early lead. Melia managed to hold off the plethora of drivers behind him for the first lap of the race, before Gavin Buckley took charge and nabbed the lead for himself in style. Buckley would drive off into the sunset, bringing home his first National Championship race win of 2026 - redemption after a difficult season for him.

Conor Melia, Owen Kelly, Kieran Hannan, and Sean McClements then fought it out for P2 and P3. There was no calling who would secure the coveted podium spots as they chopped and changed positions all through the second half of the race. A last-minute error on the last corner of the race by Melia and Kelly saw Hannan and McClements take advantage, and with it, the final podium spots.

The full race report is coming this week, but in the meantime here's who finished top 3 in each of our championships!

All set here in Mondello park, ready for testing tomorrow. First time out since the rebuild so will need to get her dialed in. Nothing we haven’t done before though!
