Customer with a coolant loss issue that turned out to be caused by previous work carried out elsewhere. Unfortunately, a pipe had been squashed during that repair which eventually caused it to crack and leak coolant.
Now repaired and secured the pipe correctly, refilled and bled the cooling system, and everything is now holding coolant exactly as it should.
If you notice coolant loss, overheating, or need work checking over — get it looked at early to avoid bigger problems later.

Another BMW back on the road 🔧
Started with diagnosing an oil leak and a coolant leak, traced it back to a failing turbo oil feed and a leaking coolant hose to the heater matrix due to it being melted by the CAT after being in another garage. Got everything stripped back, repaired, and sealed up properly. While getting the vehicle up to temperature, I noticed the car was not heating up on one side. The customer is now in for an investigation to see if it is the heater matrix that needs replacing.
