Started work on the engine now, all of the covers off, cleaned, prepped and sprayed in matt black which will hopefully look ace against gloss wheels and frame. Feel like momentum is picking up 😎

It’s a 40 year old cafe racer, it was born before me, so I’m not after a perfect mirror finish and definitely no chrome! These (drum brake housing and engine mounting brackets) have come up lovely though with a bit of elbow grease and some . They should offset the black frame and engine very nicely 😎

Good fun upcycling an old leather jacket to make the custom seat cover for the cafe racer project. Really enjoyed this, think it will look so cool once it’s been down the sewing machine!!
