Every single wrench that is made at the Elizabethton plant in Tennessee is produced using virgin steel.

The wrenches are made with the best composition of steel that can be found, and after the wrench is pressed, this is what remains.

After the 'press', this steel is no longer classed as 'virgin steel' and will not be used in any further production of a SnapOn tool, however, it is not discarded, it is recycled to help reduce the environmental impact.
