* Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota (2 nights on, 2 nights off)

Alfreton Auto Assist are looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Recovery Driver to join our growing team.
We provide vehicle recovery and roadside assistance to customers across Derbyshire and the surrounding areas. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, delivers excellent customer service, and remains calm and professional in challenging situations.

The Role
As a Class 2 Recovery Driver, your responsibilities will include:
* Attending vehicle breakdowns and recovery jobs
* Recovering cars, vans and other vehicles safely and professionally
* Carrying out roadside assistance where appropriate
* Loading, securing and transporting vehicles safely
* Completing necessary paperwork and job reports
* Maintaining the recovery vehicle to a high standard
* Working safely and following company procedures at all times

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Holds a full Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
* Has previous recovery, transport or roadside assistance experience (preferred)
* Has good knowledge of vehicle recovery and safe loading procedures
* Is confident dealing with customers face-to-face
* Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently
* Has a professional and friendly attitude
* Is willing to work a 2 nights on / 2 nights off on-call rota
* Recovery experience is preferred; however, applicants with strong HGV driving experience and the right attitude will also be considered, as full training can be provided.

Minimum Requirements
* Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good understanding of vehicle safety and loading procedures
* Flexible approach to working hours
* Previous recovery experience desirable but not essential
