🏆🏆 What a day at the Accrington Soapbox Challenge!

In case you missed it, Team Mutt Cutts had an incredible day on Saturday and were fortunate enough to come away with not one, but TWO awards! 🎉

Months of planning, building, decorating, and a lot of teamwork went into making the day a success, so to be recognised with two awards made it all worthwhile.

A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who came out to support the event. The atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic and it was great to see so many local businesses and members of the community getting involved.

Of course, we'd also like to thank everyone who cheered on Team Mutt Cutts and helped make the day one to remember.

Now the big question is...

🚨 SPECIAL ALERT 🚨

Baxenden Car Breakers will be temporarily closed tomorrow (Saturday 29th august) as the team swaps spanners for soapboxes and takes part in the Accrington Soapbox Challenge 2026! 🏁🎬

We've made the decision to close for the day so that the whole team can get involved, support the event, and represent BCB.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

✅ We will be back open as normal next week ✅ All enquiries will be responded to as soon as possible ✅ Normal business operations will resume on our return

Tomorrow, we will be taking on the hill as part of the Accrington Soapbox Challenge, and we've gone all-in on this year's film theme. 🎬

We've built the kart. We've sorted the costumes. We've completely embraced the chaos.

The question is...
