It Is Time for TYRES, BRAKES, SERVICE and BATTERY replacement
Ask yourself - Do I have the time to? :
- call and book the garage( maybe a week worth of waiting for the next appointment)
- organise the logistics to actually bring the vehicle to the garage ( yourself or someone you working with )
- drop it off and get back with your daily tasks( it almost NEVER you going to get the work done "while-you-wait" as widely advertised, especially for LCV(vans) )
- organise the logistics to collect the van after the service get done at the end
This is a short description of the hassle which will cost you roughly a week - 168 hours, (in some cases more) to service ONE of your vehicles...
- on top of everything above how secure is your vehicle while with the garage, how many of them got own secure yard?
In my area- North London- ONE, and it's always full. Most of the time vans will be parked on the street - exposed to carjackers, vandals, drug parties(very often organised at industrial estates after end of business day and Saturdays), and after your asset has been vandalised the traffic warden will slap £65 parking ticket on your windscreen. The best part of all is that your vehicle is parked by the garage at your own risk and the they won't assume any responsibility for any damage or parking tickets.
Now there's a much more preferable way for vehicle maintenance.
