Swiss underground surprise: M5 E34 3.6 Macao Blue 🇨🇭💎 (yep with a rear spoiler, 18-inch M parallel spoke wheels + Motorsport aero mirror). It’s powered by the S38 3.6 (315 hp) twin-cam 24-valve inline-six, an evolution of the engine used in the E28 M5. Only 5 877 LHD 3.6 M5 has been produced from 07/1988 through 04/1992

Random spotting from Cannes, French Riviera, 📸 by .watches : Alfa Romeo RZ (ES-30)

An abbreviation of Roadster Zagato and Experimental Sportscar 30, the number 30 relating to the engine capacity of 3 liters (based on a 75 chassis with the same 3.0 V6 engine): Unlike the SZ designed by Robert Opron, the RZ was an original Zagato design with the two typical Zagato bulges. Only 278 roadsters left the factory, 50 in 1992 and 228 in 1993. This one is number 250, Giallo Ginestra and sold new in France!

You know how much I love Alfa Romeos and particularly the 75 🍀 A development of the 75 Turbo, the Evoluzione was introduced in march 1987. Some 500 being built to meet the requirements of the FIA's Group A touring car rules. It was a direct competitor to the Sierra Cosworth and M3 E30.

All in Rosso AR555 + matching red 15-inch Campagnolo wheels + fiberglass bodykit + 1762cc turbocharged engine (unofficially 170 hp) + stronger cylinder head and turbo + ultra-stiff suspension + upgraded dif (45 % l*d) + thicker rear anti-roll bar. I spotted this one in front of a garage in the Cévennes National Park, the mechanic told me it has spent the last 20 years in a barn. French specs with yellow headlights and from Ardèche. Between 2012 and 2017, I shoot more than 150 Golf: Mk1, Mk2, GTI, convertible... When walking across Paris (but not only), usally GTI (but not always) and only side shot!

Entre 2012 et 2017 j’ai photographié plus de 150 Golf. Des Mk1, des Cabrio, des GTI, des Mk2, au grée de mes pérégrinations, la plupart du temps dans Paris (mais pas toujours), souvent des GTI (mais pas systématiquement) et toujours de profil.

BOUM ! Et voici la première r***e Asphalt Heritage.Notre indépendance totale implique des publications aussi fantasques que rigoureuses, de la mauvaise foi, des trucs illisibles, de la poésie et des images de fond d’écran (parfois des fautes d’orthographe aussi), tout cela sur un ton badin mais passionné.
Si cela vous tente, jugez par vous même : notre canard de 158 pages est disponible en PDF gratuit dès maintenant sur le lien (en haut dans la bio: http://www.asphaltheritage.com/r***e) et devrait vous occuper en attendant la version couchée sur papier.

Pour ma part je me suis notamment chargé du gros dossier, habilement intitulé « le cas K. » Un truc super sérieux de 26 pages avec des images d’archives, des photos pas forcément inédites d’un photographe publié aux quatre coins du globe, des intertitres, des citations entre guillemets et des encadrés. Bien sûr il s’agissait de choisir une auto méconnue des plus érudits : la k SW, vous l’aurez compris. Bonne lecture !

We made the most out of this lockdown by completing an exciting project we had in mind for several months an Asphalt Heritage magazine. As the existing car magazines are countless we tried to make something different, based on our own experiences rather than just fantasy cars.
As we are fully independant, the following articles may induce rigor as well as extravagance, a little bit of bad faith, poetry and pretty pictures, all made with passion. Much like many petrol head I've always wanted one of these: Renault Clio V6 phase 2, quirky junior supercar! When Renault’s engineers chose to transform an everyday, front-engined, front-wheel-drive Clio into this mid-engined, rear-wheel drive monster. With the best possible inspiration: the Renault 5 Turbo. “Being a Phase 2 car, this model has a larger wheelbase and thicker anti-roll bars than the Phase 1, reducing the tendency to bite a little too hard in the wet. Even compared to modern hot hatches it's still a little on the lardy side, weighing in at 1,400kg, but with 255hp and a screaming V6 right in the cabin, there isn't much from stopping you having a whale of a time. Well, apart from the terminal understeer...” said

´Elegance and charm meet devastating performance’ said Maserati. Quattroporte IV V8 Evoluzione, the last 4 door Biturbo, made after 1998 when factory in Modena reopened with Ferrari staff and executive. A few good things came from GM owning Lotus: my favorite is the Lotus Omega 🔥 With a twin-turbo (two giant Garrett T25) straight-six that had 377 hp and a top speed of 283 km/h, in 1990 the Omega was the fatest sedan that had ever been built. Six speed ZF manual gearbox from the Corvette ZR-1 of the same era + Holden Commodore Limited slip-differential + big AP ventilated racing brakes. So, 0-100 km/h in 5,3 sec, only the new Lamborghini Diablo could accelerate quicker!
This one is a first hand, Imperial Green, 100 % original and a super cool BRM , my crush of 2020!
