Race weekend number one, complete!

As mentioned in our previous post, Race One out competing in a 36 car strong grid of sponsored Blue Oval Saloons, Pre93, Pre03, Thunder and Historic Thunder Touring Cars, as part of the Classic Touring Car Racing Club supporting the In The Park race weekend, around the GP circuit never came to fruition, but Race Two had plenty to offer!

Starting in P15, .daffin piloting the took the chequered flag in P14!
First in Blue Oval Saloon Series Class D!
Third in Blue Oval Saloon Series overall!
With the absolute bonus of setting a new Lap Record for Blue Oval Saloon Series Class D!

We come away from the First Race weekend of the season with 2x Class D wins, 2x 3rd Overall in Blue Oval Saloon Series and a new Class D lap record.
Not a bad way to start the race season!

We’re back baby!
The 2026 Race Season has officially begun! And it’s certainly been action packed!
daffin and the placed P1 in Class D of the Classic Touring Club Racing Club’s sponsored Blue Oval Saloon Series, an absolute result! Especially considering qualifying consisted of finding space between a grid full of 36 Blue Oval Saloon Series, Pre93, Pre03, Thunder and Historic Thunder Touring Cars, it was certainly a busy GP circuit!

Race 1 was initially Red Flagged due to an unfortunate crash on the pit straight, lucky all drivers involved ok but never nice to see, especially in the first race of the season! daffin lightning quick reactions came into full effect to keep the out of trouble taking to the grass runoff for space!
Unfortunately the race restart was again met with another incident sending cars off into the gravel, resulting in a full safety car led race, taking the checkered flag in P15 and P1 in Class!

First race of the season done and dusted!
Let’s see what .daffin and the can bring tomorrow for Race 2!

March only means one thing… it’s nearly race season!!
It’s certainly not been a quiet offseason for .daffin down at !
Huge and controversial changes have been made to the which should hopefully make for an exciting new chapter !
And in 19 days you can see it in the flesh being fully sent around the GP competing in the Classic Touring Car Racing Club’s, sponsored Blue Oval Saloon Series, as part of the Classic Touring Car Weekend!

Another mega year for .daffin and Team .
- We started off the year representing the British Automotive Racing Club and Classic Touring Car Racing Club at the .
- Completed a full season competing in the Classic Touring Car Racing Club, coming away Second in Class C of the sponsored Blue Oval Saloon Series.
- Featured on the Channel, check it out if you have not seen it yet!
- Continued to develop and refine the handling, reliability and power of the world’s first RWD Mk5 Fiesta, the
- Incorporated huge changes to the aerodynamic, all manufactured in house at HQ.
- Featured in May’s Edition of the magazine, Page 144/145, if you wanted to check that out too!
- Worked with some amazing sponsors and raced against some incredible cars!

In typical .daffin fashion, big changes are already happening down at HQ preparing the for battle in 2026!

The certainly went through some developmental changes this year, finishing the season in 2nd place of the Classic Touring Car Racing Club’s Blue Oval Saloon Series, Class C!

But in pure .daffin fashion, big changes are already underway for 2026!

On this day back in 2024 .daffin was hauling the loaded with the powered through the center of Paris at peak rush hour on route to the to compete in the series supporting the , the first hosted race meeting in Spain, and the inaugural event of the circuit’s newly redeveloped layout!
