🇪🇸🚙 GALICIAN MISSION — PART 2: THE TEST DRIVE! 🇬🇧🔥

After driving more than 1,000 km from Zahara de los Atunes, Cádiz ➡️ Madrid ➡️ Ourense, Galicia, in just a couple of days, it was finally time to get down to business.

But this Personal Car Shopper mission was different… because this time the family came along for the adventure. ❤️

After arriving in Ourense and spending the first evening together at the hotel, the next morning I left the family enjoying breakfast while I went to meet my client, Rob.

Rob is English, a former bank manager who took early retirement and bought a home in Murcia. And for his new chapter in Spain, he wanted something special:

🇬🇧 A genuine RIGHT-HAND-DRIVE Land Rover Defender.

And we found a very interesting one. 👀

A beautiful GREEN Defender bought NEW by an elderly British couple who had owned and driven it themselves for around 25 years.

Around 15 years ago, they brought the Defender to their retirement home in Galicia, where it was registered on Spanish plates. 🇪🇸

The vehicle was waiting for us at a Land Rover specialist/dealership in the Ourense area, where Roberto, the owner, brought it outside for us.

We took the Defender onto the Galician roads to find out if this was really THE ONE.

🇵🇹➡️🇪🇸 ANOTHER DEFENDER MISSION! 🚙🔥

After Barcelona, I finally had 3 days back home with my family… then it was already time to hit the road again! 😅

Early morning from Zahara de los Atunes → Tavira, Portugal, to pick up my customer Luis. 🇵🇹🤝

Luis isn’t just another Defender buyer. ✈️ He’s a former TAP airline pilot and today one of his biggest passions is Land Rover Defenders. He regularly restores Defenders in Portugal, so he knows exactly what he’s looking for. 🔧

From Tavira we crossed into Spain and headed north of Sevilla for another Personal Car Shopping Service.

Our destination was the workshop of Paco (Francisco), an old-school classic car dealer who has spent years buying and selling classic Minis, Porsche 911s and Defenders. 🇬🇧

And waiting for us were TWO Defender 110s. 👀

🇪🇸➡️🇩🇪 THE FINAL CHAPTER — ALEX’S DEFENDER IS HOME! 🛻

Yes… I’m a little late posting this one! 😅 This actually happened 20–21 June, but it’s been a crazy summer and work hasn’t stopped!

After Alex flew home, his Defender stayed in Barcelona for another two weeks to finish the last details:

🔧 New indicators & small metal parts
🎨 Parts refinished in black
🪡 Roof liner re-trimmed
💺 Rear seats re-upholstered
✨ Final interior details

Once everything was ready, I organized the transport quote and collection. Here you can see the workshop finishing the last jobs, loading the Defender onto the trailer and, finally… arrival in Germany! 🇩🇪

And the best part? Receiving Alex’s message thanking me for the whole journey. 🙏
