Friday’s work at Brands Hatch ☀️

Installing windshield protection for Emil Frey Racing on the Verstappen car. While also installing a screen out of the car for Eastalent Racing

11 months ago this wasn’t even on my radar. Now it’s part of the journey.

Found something I enjoy, something I take pride in and something that adds real safety to the sport.

This is only the start.

KID Motorsport on second mechanic duties this weekend, supporting Jake Hewlett in the Honda Civic Cup — making sure everything is dialled in, from wheel changes to keeping the car race-ready between sessions.

It’s not always the spotlight work, but it’s the graft behind the scenes that keeps the car performing and the driver pushing. Fast turnarounds, attention to detail, and staying sharp under pressure — that’s what race weekends are all about.

Well yesterday wrapped up the Easter bank holiday weekend perfectly 👊

I do this for the passion and love of the sport so to walk away with a huge smile on my face and see bring home a trophy makes it all worthwhile 🏆

Round 1 of the Honda Civic Cup… what a day. 🎢

Started off strong as a team — putting the car on pole position straight out the gate. Exactly where we wanted to be.

Race 1… and Jake was absolutely on rails. Huge credit to him — brought it home in P1 after putting in the work behind the scenes, not just physically but mentally as well. Proper drive. 👏

Then came the twist… a technical infringement meant a disqualification. Tough one to take after such a solid performance, but that’s motorsport.

No time to dwell though — we go again. Back on pole using our second-best qualifying time and ready to fight for it all over again.

Eyes forward. Let’s get it. 👊

Out in force this year 💪

We’re aiming to hit as many tracks as possible in 2026, supporting the series we’re involved in and pushing things to the next level. It’s already been an unreal start, kicking things off in Dubai 🇦🇪 and we’re only just getting going… plenty more destinations locked in 🔒

At the same time, we haven’t forgotten home 🇬🇧
