Do you remember that one moment? You were independent. For the very first time, you alone decided where the journey would take you. Your first Volkswagen was parked in the garage, and you had the key.
Summer arrived, your holiday was just around the corner, and nothing could stop you now. Your pulse was racing, fueled by that indescribable feeling of absolute freedom. You packed your suitcase, only with what you wanted, with zero advice from your parents.
Whether it was a Golf, Beetle, Polo, Passat, Scirocco, Jetta, or Corrado: everyone was invited. And then that magical moment: you turned the key, and the engine came to life. No phone. No GPS. Just a thermos of coffee, a battered road map on the passenger seat, and your hard-earned cash in your wallet.
Proud as can be, you picked up your friends. There was only one direction: south. You cranked up your Alpine, Pioneer, Grundig, or Philips car stereo, your favorite cassette was on repeat, and nothing in the world could hold you back.
Think those days are over? Not a chance. That exact feeling is about to be experienced, soon for the 6th time, by many Volkswagen ID. drivers, when we head to Locarno in September for the 6th ID.TREFFEN.
ID.TREFFEN isn’t just a parking-lot meet. It’s a holiday. It’s driving fun. It’s party and goosebumps, just like back then. Sure, the music comes from Spotify now instead of a cassette. The car runs on electricity instead of petrol, and the satnav has replaced the folded map. But the spirit? It’s the same. It’s still pure freedom.
And this year, an amazing evening program awaits you again. A little teaser? Last year, we rocked the party with PacMan. And this year? You’ll have to wait and see!

Erinnerst du dich an diesen einen Moment? Du warst unabhängig. Zum allerersten Mal hast du allein entschieden, wohin die Reise geht. Dein erster Volkswagen stand in der Garage, und du hattest den Schlüssel.
Der Sommer kam, der Urlaub stand vor der Tür und es gab kein Halten mehr. Dein Puls raste, getrieben von diesem unbeschreiblichen Gefühl absoluter Freiheit. Du hast deinen Koffer gepackt, und zwar nur mit dem, was du wolltest, ganz ohne Ratschläge deiner Eltern.
Egal ob Golf, Käfer, Polo, Passat, Scirocco, Jetta oder Corrado: Alles war eingeladen. Dann dieser magische Augenblick: Du drehst den Schlüssel, der Motor springt an. Kein Handy, kein GPS. Nur eine Thermoskanne voll Kaffee, eine zerfledderte Straßenkarte auf dem Beifahrersitz und dein hart erspartes Geld in der Brieftasche.
Voller Stolz hast du deine Freunde abgeholt. Es gab nur eine Richtung: Süden. Du hast dein Alpine, Pioneer, Grundig oder Philips Autoradio aufgedreht, deine Lieblingskassette lief heiß und nichts auf der Welt konnte dich aufhalten.
Du denkst, diese Zeit ist vorbei? Von wegen. Genau dieses Gefühl erleben viele Volkswagen ID. Fahrerinnen und Fahrer bald schon zum 6. Mal, wenn es im September nach Locarno zum 6. ID.TREFFEN geht.
Das ID.TREFFEN ist nicht einfach ein Parkplatz-Treffen. Es ist Urlaub. Es ist Fahrspaß. Es ist Party und Gänsehaut, genau wie damals. Okay, die Musik kommt heute von Spotify statt von der Kassette. Der Wagen fährt elektrisch statt mit Benzin und das Navi hat die Faltkarte ersetzt. Aber der Geist? Der ist derselbe. Es ist immer noch Freiheit pur.
Auch dieses Jahr erwartet dich ein großartiges Abendprogramm. Ein kleiner Vorgeschmack? Letztes Jahr haben wir mit PacMan die Party gerockt. Und dieses Jahr? Lass dich überraschen!
