Bringing a project like the 1972 Wings Tour Bus to life takes more than just vision – it takes people. Many hands, minds and hearts helped to make it possible. That’s why we wanted to document a part of this journey: the path of the legendary 1972 Wings Over Europe tour bus from London to its new home at the Adam Hall Group headquarters in Germany, Neu-Anspach. In this short documentary, we follow the bus’s symbolic return to the world stage – and give voice to the people behind the scenes. From former owner and restorer Tom Jennings to our Executive Chairman Dave Kirby, CEO Alexander Pietschmann and Rock’n’Roll Library and Music Curator Tilo Pietschmann – each of them shares what this one-of-a-kind project means to them personally. Paul McCartney's 1972 Wings Tour Bus has been invited to join The Classic Car Boot Sale Kings Cross on 27th and 28th April 2024. WNO 481 will go on display beside John Lennon's Rolls Royce replica. We're going to try and make this happen. Hope to see you there.

So sad to learn of the passing of Denny Laine. Not long after buying Paul McCartney's 1972 Wings Tour Bus Elizabeth and Denny sent good wishes for the restoration. The photo shows him with the bus in the 1990's and it was an ambition to re-unite him with the bus again in the future. Sadly that is not to be and heartfelt condolences go out to Elizabeth and the family. RIP Denny, a true great.

Hi Everyone, my time with Paul McCartney 1972 Wings Tour Bus with artwork inspired by THE BEATLES Magical Mystery Tour and Yellow Submarine like John Lennon’s Rolls Royce and George Harrison’s Mini before it has been amazing, thrilling, heart-breaking, heart-warming and huge fun.

Sadly for many reasons, one of them being retirement, my time with this Legend Of Rock & Road is drawing to a close. It is time to pass the baton and the bus on. Thank you for all the support and good wishes since I bought the bus just over 4 years ago. I'm standing down with so many brilliant memories.

For the last 4 years I have been able to announce that I am the very proud owner of Paul McCartney's 1972 Wings Tour Bus and to have Paul McCartney and Wings and The Beatles connected to our family name is a forever treasure that will resonate down through the family for generations and form part of my legacy.

So much has been achieved that I'm really proud of:
No expense spared restoration making it the ultimate Beatles-McCartney star attraction for events, exhibitions, festivals, carnivals, product launches, photo-shoots etc. and as the open-top deck can transform into The McCartney Stage it is the perfect tour bus, mobile stage, exhibition stand for record companies, PR companies, band launches and music promotions.

Events so far:
Summer of '72 toured 7,500 miles with Paul McCartney to 25 concerts in 25 cities in 9 countries across Europe. November 2022 starred at The Classic Motor Show at The NEC, June 2023 Showbus 50 Bus Rally from RAF High Wycombe to Brunel University, October 2023 with Hard Rock Cafe The Magical History Tour of Famous Beatles-McCartney London Locations. Starting at Hard Rock Cafe Old Park Lane the tour went to; Abbey Road Studios, Paul's House in St John's Wood, A Hard Day's Night Marylebone Station, The Apple Boutique at 94 Baker St, The Beatles London HQ at 3 Savile Row and Hard Rock Cafe, Piccadilly. Video's and photo's all the way.

Invitations:
So many invitations discussed or ongoing for the bus to appear / star at events in the UK, Europe and the USA including; Beatles On The Beach, Florida, Beatles Event with Pattie Boyd, Seville, Spain, Music Agency Holland, Glastonbury, Chris Evans Car Fest, Museum Of Liverpool, Santa Pod Raceway, Oulton Park, Beaulieu, Brighton Fringe, Culture Coventry, Liverpool Beatles Museum, University of Suffolk etc.

So, the search is on to find a new custodian who will enjoy making more headlines. The bus has already enjoyed great news coverage on tv on ITV and BBC etc. and in mainstream news like Reuters, The Daily Express, The Daily Mail, The Independent, online; Hagerty, Goldmine, The Robb Report, Yahoo News etc. and found approval with The Beatles, Paul McCartney and Wings communities on social media with their millions of Followers.

17th October 2023: Your Ticket To Ride with us on the open-top deck of Paul McCartney’s 1972 Wings Tour Bus to some of London’s best known BEATLES- McCartney locations. We start at the famous Hard Rock Cafe Piccadilly Circus and our first stop is at Rock Cafe Old Park Lane, Abbey Road Studios, Paul’s house in St John’s Wood, Marylebone Station, 94 Baker St The Apple Boutique and on to The Beatles Apple HQ at 3 Savile Row and finally back to Hard Rock Cafe Piccadilly.

A beautiful sunny day full of Beatles- McCartney memories to cherish with amazing views from the best seat in the house.

Big thanks to Beatles Secretary Freda Kelly for being such a wonderful host. She thrilled and enthralled us all with her wonderful stories of her time with The Beatles. Thanks for the autographed photos of you with The FAB FOUR and hope to see you again soon.
