Your Role
As a Lab Technician at Munich Electrification, you will be part of the Hardware Development team. Together with the product design and industrialization teams, you will be responsible for all kind of laboratory activities of our company. Your main fields of responsibility will be to take ownership of our laboratories and technician activities to support all departments at ME in the development of innovative products for the next gen-eration of electric vehicles.
Your Responsibilities
▪ Organization of electronics laboratory and machine shop with respect to equipment, maintenance, work safety, cleanliness, and availability of standard materials
▪ Instruction and coordination with all departments and support of lab activities by other staff members
▪ Repair and rework of automotive electronics (soldering, harnessing, mechanical assembly / teardown, etc.)
▪ Procurement, Assembly and Bring-up of test equipment
▪ Maintenance of mule vehicles and buildup of prototype battery packs
▪ Support ex*****on of validation tests
Your Profile
▪ Successfully completed studies or apprenticeship in a technical field (technician, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automotive engineering)
▪ Working experience as technician, good soldering skills are essential, IPC certification is a plus
▪ Experience in working with high voltage systems, trained for “Arbeiten unter Spannung” is a plus
▪ Experience in the field of (electro)mechanical projects
▪ Highly motivated, willing to take responsibility and ownership of labs and equipment
▪ Creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm for innovative electronics solutions for electric vehicles
▪ Preference for working in teams and strong communication skills (English & German favorable)
▪ Detail oriented work procedures and high quality of workmanship is essential
