🚛🎉 Three days packed with exciting discussions, hands-on technology and plenty of enthusiasm for the future of road freight transport!

ViGo Bioenergy was once again represented as an exhibitor at this year’s Truck & Country Festival at the Lausitzring.

A real highlight was our joint presentation with Fahrzeugbau GmbH from Guben: with an LNG lorry on display at the venue and an LNG dispenser, we were able to demonstrate live just how simple and safe refuelling with LNG is in practice. Many visitors took the opportunity to see the technology up close and discuss their questions directly with our experts.

ViGo Bioenergy at the Volvo INTRUCK event in Karpin

New technologies, alternative powertrains and sustainable solutions for heavy goods transport were the focus of this year’s Volvo INTRUCK event in Karpin, Poland. Numerous logistics providers, fleet operators and partner companies took the opportunity to find out about the latest developments and future innovations in the transport sector.

ViGo Bioenergy would like to extend its sincere thanks to Volvo for the invitation and the open dialogue. The event provided an excellent platform for discussing topics such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), sustainability and the practical implementation of alternative fuel solutions with haulage companies and fleet operators.

🧪 Myth: “bioLNG reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 90% – and that’s the limit.”
✅ Fact: That figure is only a common benchmark – the real impact can be much higher. When you look at the full lifecycle and the type of feedstock used, bioLNG can deliver carbon savings of between 166% and 221%.
How is that possible? If liquid manure is used as feedstock instead of being spread untreated on fields, methane and other harmful emissions are avoided. These avoided emissions are counted in the lifecycle calculation and significantly increase the carbon savings.
🔎 CO₂ reductions from bioLNG range from 166% to 221%, depending on the origin and intended use of the substrate. That is not just “climate neutral” – it is climate positive.

🚛🌱 ViGo Bioenergy at the WFZ Ruhr – Tag der Entsorgungslogistik & Kommunaltechnik 2026 2026

Many thanks to all visitors, customers and partners for the numerous fascinating discussions at the WFZ-Ruhr – Waste Management Logistics & Municipal Technology Day 2026 in Selm.

The event impressively demonstrated how important practical and cost-effective solutions are for the decarbonisation of waste collection and municipal vehicles.

BioLNG can already make a significant contribution in this regard: it enables substantial CO₂ reductions, improves the carbon footprint of municipal services and helps towns and local authorities achieve their sustainability targets.

At the same time, fleet operators benefit from a tried-and-tested technology, a long range and attractive economic conditions for heavy goods transport.
