Motorsports weekend ahead 🤩 NLS7 – 6h ADAC Ruhr-Pokal-Rennen

will compete on Saturday, 1 August, in the 6 hours Nürburgring long distance race, “NLS7”, under the name “TOYO TIRES with Ring Racing”.

On the legendary Nordschleife, the team will drive with 2 cars in the SP9 and VT2-RWD classes, again running on specially developed PROXES racing tires.

In the top SP9 category, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 ( #32) will be driven by Yuichi Nakayama, who is PROXES brand ambassador and TOYOTA GAZOO Racing driver. Also the German drivers Andreas Gülden and Tim Sandtler will perform on this Toyo Tires AMG.
Following the team’s best result of the season so far in the previous race, TOYO TIRES is aiming to continue its positive momentum and further establish itself among the front runners.

TOYO TIRES will also be represented in the VT2-RWD class with company driver Takuma Miyazono and Jin Horino.
They will compete in a Toyota Supra ( #520).
After finishing second in class at the previous NLS6 round, the duo will be targeting another podium result.

The PROXES racing tyres used for the event have been further developed. Insights and data gathered from the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring feed directly into the set-up, helping meet the specific demands of this challenging circuit.

[TOYO TIRES Ambassador Delivers a Thrilling Performance at a European Motoring Event!]
TOYO TIRES ambassadors Masato Kawabata and Mad Mike took part as guest drivers at the ‘Goodwood Festival of Speed’, a motoring event held in the UK from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th July.
This event is one of the world’s leading motoring gatherings, bringing together car manufacturers, racing teams, tuners and drivers from across the globe.

On this occasion, Masato Kawabata, the ‘PROXES’ brand ambassador, and Mad Mike, the global ambassador, took to the track in cars fitted with PROXES tyres!
Following his appearance at ‘ULTRACE’ in Poland in June, Kawabata drove the Nissan ‘R35 GT-R’—a joint project between ‘TRUST’, one of Japan’s leading tuning parts manufacturers, and TOYO TIRES. Mad Mike also delivered a thrilling driving performance in his self-tuned ‘MAZDA3 Bullet’.

Furthermore, ‘PROXES’ brand ambassador Yuichi Nakayama took to the track for a demonstration run as the driver of GAZOO Racing’s ‘GR GT3’ racing car.

The 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place from 10 to 13 July 2026 on the grounds of Goodwood House in West Sussex, England.
Toyo Tires brand ambassador Mad Mike will be there once again; he is just as well known for his drifting skills as the second Toyo Tires brand ambassador, M. Kawabate, who took part in the Ultrac Race in Poland just last weekend.

ULTRACE Poland 2026: custom car culture meets drift performance
From 27 to 28 June 2026, ULTRACE Poland will take place under the motto “Eternal Culture” for the first time in Gdańsk, at the Polsat Plus Arena. The international automotive event is one of the key meeting points for Europe’s custom car, tuning and performance scene. Around 1,000 carefully selected vehicles, drift shows, vehicle presentations and an extensive supporting programme make ULTRACE a platform for contemporary car culture.
TOYO TIRES will create a special highlight together with Masato Kawabata: the Japanese drift champion will appear in a Nissan R35 GT-R developed in collaboration with renowned tuning parts manufacturer TRUST. Fitted with PROXES tyres, the vehicle is set to demonstrate its performance in dynamic driving demonstrations.
