BYD SS DOLPHIN PHEV.

The SS Dolphin is a rare, retro-styled plug-in hybrid roadster manufactured by BYD for the boutique Chinese brand SongSan Motors. Inspired by the 1958 Chevrolet Corvette C1, it pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor to produce 315 hp.
Design and Performance
The SS Dolphin is essentially a modern BYD vehicle wearing a classic American-style convertible body. Because SongSan Motors lacked vehicle manufacturing licenses in China, BYD was contracted to build the car on their own modern plug-in hybrid (PHEV) platform.

Powertrain: A combination of a 1.5L turbo engine and an electric motor that delivers 315 horsepower and 535 Nm of torque.
Battery: Features a 16 kWh battery pack providing an EV-only range of about 100 km.
Speed: Capable of a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.9 seconds.
Interior: Unlike the vintage exterior, the cabin features modern tech, including a fully digital BYD dashboard and infotainment system.
