Here is what is actually on these trucks, not a brochure version. SX4255JV324F3000 extended flat-roof cab, no roof deflector. Aurora White. Weichai WP12.430E201 at 430 hp, mated to a 12JSD200T-B iron-shell gearbox with QH50 spline. MAN 9.5T front axle and a 16T MAN two-stage cast rear axle at 5.92 ratio. Single refrigeration AC, 380L iron fuel tank, 12.00R20 radial tires. Reinforced JOST 90 fifth wheel, domestic clutch, oil-bath air filter. Multi-leaf front suspension, multi-leaf rear with four U-bolts per side. Domestic steering gear, standard wheel, 850x300 (8+7) frame, maintenance-free batteries, manual cab tilt, two-step boarding, steel bumper.
For West African operators, the spec list is the argument. 5.92 gearing pulls loaded on grades where taller ratios bog down. The 380L tank stretches the gap between fuel stops on long hauls. Oil-bath filtration and the 8+7 frame take dust and rough tarmac without constant workshop time. MAN axles and the JOST 90 saddle mean parts you can actually source regionally.
