Soundcheck of a Porsche 964 RSR replica powered by an air cooled 4.3L engine from .ch 🔥

This 964 has played an important role in the development of our future builds. Rather than relying purely on specifications and theory, we built this car as our test platform to gain real experience with different components under actual driving conditions.

From demanding road kilometres to hard sessions on the racetrack, the entire setup was developed, tested and refined as one complete system.

At its heart is the 4.3L air cooled flat six engine from .ch producing about 430 hp. Around it, we integrated and tested technologies including Bosch Motorsport ABS, traction control, ESP, a large Brembo brake system, our fuel injection setup and various other components.

The goal was not simply to achieve more performance. It was to understand how every component works together and how we can combine classic Porsche character with modern technology, reliability and control.

The result is an unmistakably analogue driving experience, enhanced by development and testing carried out under real world conditions.

This car has completed its role in our development program. Now it is ready for a new owner and its next chapter 🏁

This Porsche 964 RSR replica is our test car, and it is now available on the market 🔥

Our intention for this car was clear: to test the best components for our future backdating program under real conditions, to provide the highest quality of builds we can.

We wanted to push the 4.3L .ch engine hard on the track, giving us real proof of concept for when our clients decide to push their 4.3L engines.

But the engine was only one part of the development. This car became our platform for testing the complete package: Bosch Motorsport ABS, traction control, ESP, the large Brembo brake system, our fuel injection system and many other components.

Everything was tested where it matters. On the road and on the racetrack.

The result is a 430 hp air cooled Porsche that combines the character of a classic air cooled 964 with technology and performance developed through real world testing.

Fully road legal in Switzerland, eligible for veteran registration and equipped with a DMSB vehicle passport for use on the racetrack 🏁

After serving us as a development and test car, it is now ready for its next chapter.

The Erbacher Performance No. 5 is complete.

Finished in Grand Prix White and powered by our naturally aspirated 4.3L .ch flat six, this is the fifth car built to our Performance specification.

Before delivery, every engine is run in on the engine dyno for approximately 24 hours, where all operating parameters are monitored and verified. Only after passing every test is it installed into the vehicle.

From there, each car completes another 200 to 300 kilometres of road testing. Every system is checked, every component is allowed to settle and every detail is inspected before the car is handed over to its owner.

Inside, Performance No. 5 features Alcantara throughout the cockpit, hand braided leather details, our latest digital instrument cluster and a CAE shifter, combining classic Porsche character with modern engineering.

Like every Erbacher, the complete conversion is fully approved for Swiss road use.

This beautifully and freshly repainted 964 is now available. It features brand new backdate-style seats and fresh interior carpets.
We’ve also added several upgrades – including the big Porsche Turbo brakes and a fully overhauled 3.8L engine and some other modifications, making it an absolute joy to drive.

Classy. The Erbacher ONE.

Based on the Porsche 964, this example has been completely reimagined and handcrafted by Erbacher as a bespoke commission.

The ONE represents our most refined and luxurious interpretation of this air-cooled model. Every detail is carefully considered, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, exclusivity and timeless design.

For this interior, the client chose a distinctive patterned fabric centre section combined with premium leather finishes. Numerous components, including the climate control k***s, gear lever and side-view mirrors, were individually machined and hand finished to create a truly bespoke driving environment.

A large portion of the bodywork is made from carbon fibre. Each component was initially hand shaped before the moulds for carbon production were created, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering.

The centrally positioned fuel filler cap and side-mounted oil filler are subtle tributes to Porsche’s racing heritage and iconic competition models.

Powered by an aircooled flat six engine built by .ch the Erbacher ONE delivers an unmistakable driving experience that captures the essence of what makes these cars so special.
