Erbacher ONE as targa!

Commissioned by our customer, we reinterpreted a Porsche 964 Targa as the base vehicle and transformed it according to our own vision of a refined backdate.

The Erbacher ONE represents our most luxurious and refined interpretation, defined by craftsmanship, attention to detail and numerous components finished by hand.

This Erbacher ONE was completed in Gemini Blue. Recently, we took the Targa concept one step further by replacing the original roof panel with a glass roof, and we are very excited about the result.

The additional light completely changes the atmosphere of the interior. Combined with the dark, hand woven leather, it brings out the craftsmanship and details throughout the cabin even more beautifully 🙌🏼

A timeless air cooled character, reinterpreted the Erbacher way.

A former Jeg Coughlin Jr. Pro Stock Cavalier is taking an unconventional path.

Jack Henderson and Mike Schaefer replaced its big-block power with a supercharged Gen III HEMI producing roughly 1,700 horsepower. After dialing in the combination, the Cavalier has delivered a string of low-4.50-second eighth-mile passes at around 150 mph, setting the stage for Top Sportsman and index racing.

The latest Erbacher Performance is complete 🏁

Fully approved for Swiss road use and now officially registered as a veteran vehicle!

Every modification is documented and approved, including the air cooled 4.3L .ch engine, our exhaust system and the complete Erbacher Performance package.

Carbon rear decklid. Carbon front and rear bumpers. Carbon bonnet. Lightweight construction throughout, combined with the precise mechanical feel of a CAE shifter.

What makes this build even more special is its official veteran status in Switzerland, despite the extensive modifications.

One of the key advantages of veteran registration is the extended inspection interval, with the vehicle only required to undergo the Swiss MFK inspection every six years.

A combination of lightweight construction, mechanical character and carefully developed engineering, fully approved for the road.

Erbacher & Friends 🏁 Our very first trackday of our own!

We had an incredible time at Anneau du Rhin. A full day of petrol talk, countless laps on the track, great cars and even better company 🏎️

And this was just the beginning. Next year, we are planning to host three Erbacher & Friends trackdays!

A huge thank you to every single person who joined us and made this day so special. It was an honour to have you with us.

Soundcheck of a Porsche 964 RSR replica powered by an air cooled 4.3L engine from .ch 🔥

This 964 has played an important role in the development of our future builds. Rather than relying purely on specifications and theory, we built this car as our test platform to gain real experience with different components under actual driving conditions.

From demanding road kilometres to hard sessions on the racetrack, the entire setup was developed, tested and refined as one complete system.

At its heart is the 4.3L air cooled flat six engine from .ch producing about 430 hp. Around it, we integrated and tested technologies including Bosch Motorsport ABS, traction control, ESP, a large Brembo brake system, our fuel injection setup and various other components.

The goal was not simply to achieve more performance. It was to understand how every component works together and how we can combine classic Porsche character with modern technology, reliability and control.

The result is an unmistakably analogue driving experience, enhanced by development and testing carried out under real world conditions.

This car has completed its role in our development program. Now it is ready for a new owner and its next chapter 🏁

This Porsche 964 RSR replica is our test car, and it is now available on the market 🔥

Our intention for this car was clear: to test the best components for our future backdating program under real conditions, to provide the highest quality of builds we can.

We wanted to push the 4.3L .ch engine hard on the track, giving us real proof of concept for when our clients decide to push their 4.3L engines.

But the engine was only one part of the development. This car became our platform for testing the complete package: Bosch Motorsport ABS, traction control, ESP, the large Brembo brake system, our fuel injection system and many other components.

Everything was tested where it matters. On the road and on the racetrack.

The result is a 430 hp air cooled Porsche that combines the character of a classic air cooled 964 with technology and performance developed through real world testing.

Fully road legal in Switzerland, eligible for veteran registration and equipped with a DMSB vehicle passport for use on the racetrack 🏁

After serving us as a development and test car, it is now ready for its next chapter.

We got asked on one of our latest posts about this car if we could do a soundcheck. And of course we can!

Powered by a 3.0L twin ignition engine and built to FIA regulations, this lightweight machine comes in at under 1000 kg and is ready for classic racing events across Europe 🏁
