Friends and family, I’m asking for your help for someone very special.
Dale is a Canadian Armed Forces veteran, retired Winnipeg Police Service officer, dedicated volunteer, and longtime supporter of our community and fellow veterans. He has spent decades serving others through military service, policing, the Winnipeg Police Pipe Band, the Legion and regimental associations, his Masonic lodge, youth football, and veterans’ riding clubs.
Today, Dale is fighting a long list of serious health issues, including COPD, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, liver and kidney disease, and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in both lungs. He is now on full‑time oxygen therapy. The ongoing costs for oxygen, medications, CPAP and medical equipment are mostly out of pocket because the Manitoba Pharmacare deductible is so high, and it has never been reached. This has created a significant financial hardship for Dale and his family.
We’ve started a GoFundMe to help cover his oxygen therapy, prescriptions, medical equipment, and essential living expenses. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference—and even if you can’t give, a share helps more than you know.
Please take a moment to read and share his story, and if you’re able, to donate:

Thank you for standing with Dale and helping him breathe a little easier.
