And... just like that its FRIDAY!

The week went by so quickly and in two days the month of JULY is over. One more month of Summer and it'll be Fall.

I get so caught up in work that I forget sometimes what my goals are. My life is my family and I love that I get to be home with them every night.

Always be thankful of the day that's been given to you, a bad day is just a bad day. Things will get better everyday only if you keep trying, because when you do, you're already one step ahead than you were yesterday.

Today I wanted to share some tips and tricks I learned along the way.

For those who are new to owning a vehicle, there are somethings you can do yourself to save cost and maintain your vehicle in the best possible condition it can be. Please let me know if there's something I didn't include!

CHANGING YOUR COOLANT

****DO NOT OPEN the coolant system while it is under pressure.****
WAIT for the engine to be cool.

1. Make sure your vehicle is turned off and parked on levelled ground.
2. Remove reservoir cap when engine is cool.
3. Add coolant up to the cold fill line.
4. Start the engine, while pouring coolant in. (This process will allow coolant to go deeper into the engine, this will drop the coolant slightly so it will allow you to add more.)
5. Once reservoir is filled to the line, then you may screw the cap back on.

Some vehicles have a radiator cap, the process will be similar but may be harder to put coolant in the smaller fill hole.
I suggest using a funnel to help fill the coolant with ease and less mess.

In the photos I added what the different symbols would look like in your vehicle.

Your vehicles coolant is usually changed around 40,000 kms or if you've had up to 5 oil changes.
