Has been a bit of a roller coaster ride around here lately, unfortunately we lost the shop that put me on the map, the shop that started it all, from holding a flash light for my dad at a young age to the hundreds of projects built in that building it sure was hard to watch all those memories up in flames, just goes to show how fast life can change, but with every set back comes a great comeback story, but even with having to deal with the aftermath of the fire the shop has been crazy busy! More engine swaps, diff rebuilds, Fass fuel systems, duramax upper oil pan reseal and rear main seal, air bag kits with wireless compressors, emission weight loss programs, 68rfe deep pans,we’ve been doing it all thank you to everyone that has reached out an offered our family support and to my customers for continuing to trust me with your vehicles!

Busy busy busy! The projects just keep getting bigger and bigger! Here’s a few projects that have been fixed around here lately! Fresh off the lot was a 2026 duramax getting the grandpa delete with some flaps wheels and color match front end, heater and evap core replacement on a ram, had a 2008 ram 5500 with over 800 thousand km in for a blown head gasket but unfortunately for this customer upon removal of the head found some cracked pistons, customer opted for new bto series long block from , new turbo and 2 piece manifold from new Bosch injectors and cp3, the people over at pml sure know how to build the best engines on the market customer was blown away with how smooth and quiet this engine runs, being in this industry allows me to work with some incredible company’s, building relationships with the people of the company and having trust and confidence in products that i can install on customer vehicles knowing that they are getting fixed right the first time! Overwhelmed with the support of my wonderful customers 2026 is gonna be huge!

I’ve been really slacking on the social media updates lately, the work doesn’t ever seem to slow down around here! Here’s a couple of the projects that got fixed up here lately, lbz in for a engine swap due to a broken crank shaft, these 5.7 hemis keeping me busy with the cam and lifter failures and exhaust manifolds, a Hyundai in for a new engine caused by a spun rod bearing, have done multiple Cummins turbo replacements, tires and wheels were flying out the door keeping people safe this winter, some Fass fuel system installs, transmission rebuilds and of course the usual steering and suspension work and brake jobs, making these diesels breath freely with a emissions weight loss program, just when I thought I would never run out of space in the shop it’s looking like I need to go bigger! Thanks again to all my amazing customers for continuing to support my dreams could not do this without you!

Been awhile since I posted here but here’s a lil shop update, been overwhelmed with the amount of vehicles rolling through here, added a new member to the team to help move everything through the shop faster and it sure is nice to finally have some help, here’s a few highlights to my days lately, had one bad forth gen come through the shop for a set of Hamilton valve springs, arp head studs and some big pushrods to help contain all the boost that this s400 kit is pushing, one of the muddiest trucks I’ve had roll through doors for a rebuilt trans, hemi in for a set of lifters and MDS delete tune, have to give a huge shoutout the the people over at for gifting me the coolest desk art I’ve ever seen, cannot thank my supporters and customers enough for making this dream come true I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today without you, it’s full steam ahead here at top gun and have many more dreams to accomplish but I won’t stop till they all come true!

Busy week here at top gun! Driveline repairs seem to be the trend here lately, 5 transmission jobs, a rear diff rebuild and a gm tcase with the famous pump rub through the case, these chevys sure are good job security! “The dream is free the hustle is not” is a quote that I’ve lived by for many years, I’ve had a vision set in my mind from very early on in my career that I wanted to build my dream shop and today marks day one in my dream shop, I cannot thank the team that stood behind me enough to make this all possible, got to work with some outstanding company’s during this process, thank you for putting up the structure, for all the electrical work, Darren at KKD construction and wetaskiwin ready mix for the concrete work, Ryder construction and crow farm and ranches for dirt work, w**d creek services and jones sand and gravel for all the gravel, .lift for all the hoists, for building material for office, for epoxy and the most important of all my dad, he’s the definition of Superman there’s nothing that man can’t do I most definitely wouldn’t be moved in this soon if it wasn’t for him I cannot thank him enough and the final shout out goes to my wife thank you for continuing to support me and our dream I couldn’t do it without you, owning your own business can always be a gamble but seeing a line up of vehicles sure makes me feel a lot better about this large investment, so here’s to a new version of Top gun automotive Ltd I cannot wait to see where this adventure goes! 🤟🏼

Can see the light at the end of the tunnel! .lift got all 4 lifts installed this week! got the epoxy floor installed in the office, Dan the man being the best handy man and getting the mezzanine framed up! Cannot thank the people that have helped this dream of mine come to life enough! Finally getting caught up with the back log of vehicles 1 more week and I’ll be making the move over!

Busy is an understatement! Doing my best to keep knocking out these jobs! 19 vehicles lined up here this week, had a couple head scratchers that took some brain power to diagnose but was able to get them fixed right the first time! Jobs from brakes, tires and services to front end rebuilds, diffs and transmission jobs, fuel pumps and ac repairs, this week has been full of it all! Almost need more than 24h in a day to keep up at this rate! Throughout it all still managed to keep up progression on the new shop! Couple more weeks before all the new equipment shows up and we will be moving in! Super excited to get in there and get some hired help! Was only fitting that ol blues tires touched that fresh concrete first 😎

What hectic few weeks! Been a battle balancing getting these vehicles fixed up and making progress on the shop! Here’s a couple highlights, Got a super clean lml in for a fresh set of Toyo at3s, a low km 3rd gen in for a weight loss program, front end repairs and diagnosed and repaired a ghost electrical issue that dodge dealer told customer was non repairable! Huge shoutout to KKD construction for getting the concrete placed and looking like glass! Also thanks to Hallacon construction for bringing out the pumper! Should be in and operational at end of June! Can’t thank my customers enough looking forward to providing more services and faster wait times!

The work doesn’t seem to slow down around here! Bangin out job after job and still making progress on the shop build! Here’s some of this week’s highlights! 2013 Cummins in for a zone leveling kit with upgraded bilstein shocks all around, 2018 Cummins in with a new cm truck bed aluminum flat deck, was able to change bcm configuration to eliminate the lamp out messages and rapid flashing signals, 2013 f350 in for extensive repairs, full front end rebuild with ball joints and spicer u joints 2 new rear leaf spring packs and some drive shaft u joints, Chevy 1500 with fresh set of ragnarok gt street tires, and wrapped up the week finishing pad prep and getting rebar laid out and tied! Thanks again to my great customers couldn’t do this without you!

What a wild month it’s been! Throughout all the craziness still somehow managed to pull the OG shop truck out of a long hibernation! Md truck repair getting some fresh 22s for the grocery getter, one bad ass big block c10 with nitrous getting a fat set of drag radials, 2020 ram came in with a cracked rim so customer opted to get the new fusion forged wheels! Also had a second gen Cummins in for a Fass fuel system with sump to cure a low fuel supply issue under high load! Have another busy week ahead of me thanks again to my amazing customers for the continued support!

What a week it’s been, so much on the go with the shop build and trying to keep up with the abundance of trucks in the line up! Here’s a couple of the week’s projects! 2019 f350 with twisted off input shaft so it got a stage 1 tow 6r140 from iconic driveline,Had a 2018 ram 1500 in for mds delete with hellcat lifters and cam also installed a melling high flow oil pump and custom tune along with rear differential and some front end parts! And finally Trielectric killing it with the shops wiring! Looking forward to getting this shop project wrapped up so I can keep up with the demand! Can’t thank my customers enough!
