Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend, even with this crazy smoky season we’ve been having!

Just wanted to share a little update from the last while, as well as a huge thank you to Shelby and the team over at RJ Fisher Transport for giving me a call to come out and service their beautiful ’03 International — still pulling strong with over **1 MILLION KMS!**

Over the last week, I was also back out there finishing up some of the repairs Shelby had requested, along with getting a grease service done on all of their trailers in the yard.

I really enjoy seeing companies thinking ahead and staying on top of preventative maintenance. Something as simple as keeping equipment properly greased and serviced can go a long way toward avoiding unnecessary breakdowns, downtime, and bigger repair bills down the road.

Hi everyone! My name is Clinton, and I’m the owner of CLSM Mechanical & Install Services, a small mobile mechanical business based in Vernon and serving the surrounding North Okanagan area.

I’m currently introducing myself to the community and working on building a local client base. I’ll be starting school for heavy-duty mechanics next month, so I’m not looking to take on anything too large or extensive right away. My focus is on manageable jobs where I can provide honest service, continue building experience, and grow the business at a realistic pace.

I bring nearly five years of hands-on experience working in the commercial transportation industry, where I’ve gained practical knowledge servicing and repairing heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment. Along the way, I’ve also completed a variety of mechanical repairs and maintenance on automotive, small industrial, and sport/utility equipment, giving me experience across a range of applications. Starting my heavy-duty apprenticeship is the next step in further developing my skills and expanding the services I can offer.

On the heavy-duty commercial side, I provide mobile servicing, pre-inspections, repairs, installations, and diagnostics for trucks, trailers, and related equipment.

I also take on select automotive, small industrial, utility, and equipment-related work. Because every job is different, the best way to find out whether I can help is to send me some information and photos of what you need looked at.

I believe in being upfront about what I can reasonably handle. If something is outside my current scope, I’ll be honest about it rather than wasting your time or money—and I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction or assist however I can to help you get things sorted.

A recent trailer repair was completed for Rod over at Fermco

The work primarily involved welding and straightening damaged sections of the trailer, followed by sealing and painting the repaired areas. New trailer lights and wiring were also installed and fully tested.
