Curious about the actual science behind red light therapy?

Here’s what happens at the cellular level:

1. Your cells contain mitochondria 🧬
Mitochondria are tiny structures inside our cells that play a major role in producing the energy cells need to function.

2. Mitochondria produce ATP ⚡
They help create ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the primary energy currency of cells. ATP provides energy for many cellular processes, including normal maintenance and repair.

3. Cellular energy production can be affected
Factors such as aging, stress, illness, poor sleep, and environmental exposures can affect how efficiently cells produce and use energy. This can influence normal cellular function.

4. Red and near-infrared light reaches the cells
During photobiomodulation, specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light pe*****te the skin and are absorbed by molecules within cells. One of the key areas researchers study is the mitochondria.

5. Light may influence mitochondrial energy production ✨
The absorbed light can affect mitochondrial activity and cellular signalling, potentially influencing how efficiently cells produce ATP. These changes support cellular function, energy production, and the body’s natural repair processes.

We’re excited to introduce you to a simple, relaxing treatment that’s becoming a popular option for recovery and overall wellness.

Red Light Therapy (RLT) uses red and near-infrared light that can pe*****te beneath the skin and interact with your cells, supporting the production of ATP, which is the energy your cells use to function and repair.

So, what does that mean for you?

RLT is used to help with:
💪 Muscle soreness
🦵 Joint discomfort
⚡ Recovery after activity
🔬 Cellular function and repair
✨ Overall wellness

Interested in giving it a try? Follow our social media pages as we share more about RLT, what a session looks like, and how it can fit into your recovery routine.

5 stretches to add to your routine that target overall hip tightness🧘‍♀️

Try these five:
