3.5 HOURS of track time per run group! 🏁

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Oct 2nd track day at Shannonville Motorsport Park!

The rain forecast scared a lot of people away, so we combined run groups, and every driver got 3.5 hours on track. The wet morning was great for car control practice. By lunch the track was dry, and drivers got 2 hours of dry track time in the afternoon alone.

To everyone who stayed home: our drivers thank you. 😉 More open track, more laps, more fun for them.

Days like this don't come around often, and when they do, you have to be there.

Novice Academy - Built to introduce you to Lapping Day at the Race Track. Bring your own car out and see what she can do! Join our Novice Academy and learn the racing line, track safety and set you up to make the most of your track time.

Half-Day Education- This program is recommended for Drivers with less than 5 Track Day experience. The course is a half day long (9am to 12pm) with a combination of in-class and on-track instruction in a safe and relaxed atmosphere. The goal is to orient the driver to the event protocols and driving knowledge required to allow you to enjoy the pleasure of Performance Driving.”

What car do I need to get on track?
Answer: The car you have.

Trust me, after 33 years of hitting the track. Any day at the track is better then a day on the couch.

What does my car need to get on track?
1- Tires in good shape. - Nothing fancy is needed here to get out. Tires with tread depth.
2- Brake pads in good shape - Ideally with more then 60% remaining.
3. Brake Fluid - Fresh brake fluid is important! High-temperature brake fluid is even better.

To get out on track, your OEM and stock components will work just fine. Getting out is the first step in building the skills needed to go fast. A crazy built car is still slow with an untrained driver behind the wheel. Invest more in yourself (than your car), build your miles on track.

Building and wrenching on cars is fun. However, playing at the race track, testing yourself and figuring out how your car works is the best.
