The Thunderwolves are back!
After a full year of development and production, we passed inspection, tilt, and sound testing, marking a significant improvement over TWR-16.
While we encountered issues along the way, the team solved most, including thinking quickly at the sound test to implement a fix that cut our exhaust volume by over 12 dB. Unfortunately, we ran out of time on the final day of tech to perform the braking test, meaning we couldn’t participate in the dynamic events.
Despite this, we placed 83rd out of 138 teams from our design and testing points—a 6-position improvement from TWR-16. Operating on a smaller budget and with little time to test, producing a race-ready car was an incredible achievement.
